Can you go to TS restaurants just for dessert?

This will be our 2nd trip to WDW-just DH & I this time.

He is a VERY fussy eater. We are staying off site, so we are not doing the Dining, but after reading about some of the desserts & appetizers here, I was wondering if yuo can just go to the TS restaurants for these things.

Also, if anyone knows.....is the menu at Coral Reef that is posted here all that they have on the menu? Are there any ala carte items? Hubby won't eat anything on that menu and I would LOVE to go there, but not if it means that he wouldn't have a good time.

If you can get a seating then sure you can. Also some will pack your dessert to go and you can sit in one of the lounges or elsewhere and enjoy it. We enjoy having the pressed Kona coffee pot and desserts at KC sometimes without dining. Plus it doesn't tie up the table for long.

I'd like to do this at Sci-Fi. Not because of the dessert list but because I'd like to see what it's like but there are other TS restaurants I want try and this would be a good compromise.

I've never done it, but there is no rule that say's you can't!

We're doing it the week after Thanksgiving. Sending the boys on the pirate cruise from the Grand Floridian and I've got an ADR for GF Cafe. I'm ordering for our anniversary some tuxedo strawberries and the chocolate slipper dessert as a surprise for DH. We'll eat those and drink some cappuccino for breakfast and then stroll the grounds until the pirate ship docks with our pirate scoundrels.
