Can you go to the campfire program at Fort Wilderness from the Lodge?

Are there shuttles to take you over? We camped there earlier this year and loved the campfire program. We would love staying at the Lodge if we knew we could go to the program!
Thanks!
Debra

I expect you could do some bus transfers to get there, but Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge are two totally different resorts and not all that close together (at least by the roadway).

You can take the boat from Wilderness Lodge to the Fort Wilderness Campground. You just have to make sure the boat is going to Fort Wilderness for pick-up before Magic Kingdom.

We went over to Ft. Wilderness several times when we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. The boat is quick and easy. Also, there is a nice little walking or biking path between the two. It doesn't take very long at all to walk it. My husband and I made the walk several times last December with no trouble. It probably took about 15 minutes.

I don't believe that the path is lighted - probably not a good idea to use it after dark!

That may be true. I hadn't thought of that. We used the path to walk over to Ft. Wilderness around 5p.m. for dinner, so it was still light outside.
