Can You Get Your Ears Pierced On Board ?

Can anyone tell me if you you could get your ears pierced in the salons /treatment rooms aboard the ship ?

I am considerig getting my ears re-pierced for my wedding that will be taking place during the cruise (I had them done years ago, but they have healed over now) ....just wondering how long I can leave making this decision

After 5 cruises, I have never heard any ship offering any kind of piercing. Hair brading, yes, piercing no. I do know on Royal Carrib. Explorer and Freedom of the Seas they did have temporary tattoos.

Not to worry you but I have heard from friends that re-piercing is much more painful than the 1st time. You might want to get that out of the way before you leave in case of complications.

I can only speak from personal experience, but I had to have one of my ears re-pierced a few years back. For me, it was not painful at all. Just a moment of discomfort, but not bad at all.

I'd do it well before. Who wants to deal with possibly painful ears, possible infection, and all those daily ear-washings while on a cruise, much less with a wedding?

I see you are getting married in February. Congratulations! I hate to be the naysayer, but I think it takes 6-8 weeks before you can even take the piercing studs out. So, you would have those dinky piercing studs in for your wedding. Plus, they could get infected and you don't want a red itchy ear on your honeymoon. I would not do it at this time.
