Can you get summer at HH or VB at 7 months?

I did. I wanted a 2br mid-June 2004. Called day-by-day and succeeded.
ETA: This was for HH.

We got Vero (1 bedroom) for 5 nights over July 4th at the 7 month window. This was a few years ago. Unfortunately, we ended up having to cancel, but did get the ressie right at the 7 month window. Did not have to go on a waitlist.

If you want a 2BR at HH, you should be able to get one at 7 months in the summer. Since there are only 21 studios and 1BRs and only 5 GVs, those may be gone at 7 months.

I would call day by day. We got our June 2006 reservation at the 7 month window but I was told that there was just a few rooms. We also wait listed for a Grand Villa that came through for us. Good luck.

We've gotten both in summer. HH is the tougher, can be hard to get a 7 months from mid June throug mid August. Vero tends to open up somewhat during July and August. In the case of both, like Plutofan I'd recommend a day by day approach (we always use that for all ressies, including home resort at 11 months).

Late summer is easier - in 2004, at 7 months I got a 1BR at HH for 9 nights for an 8/26 check in.

Doable. At HHI right now and VB on Wednesday. Did the day by day approach. SSR is my homey.

The "sunbelt back in session" factor has an impact - to an extent. Yes, during our stay at HHI the southern accents were pretty much gone by the time we arrived.

But the resort was still full - of people from the U.K. and New Jersey.

I own at HH,but when making ressies outide 11 month window we have never been lucky in getting several days in arow in the summer.
