can you get DDP at music in a suite??

ok just wondering if u are staying at all star music in a suite if you get offered the free dining plan? i thought i read somewhere that u cant get free dining in a suite.

im planning our next trip for fall 2012 and im hoping to stay in a suite at the new art of animation hotel or poly! just wondering if u stay in a value suite if u qualify for free dining...if so we would go that route (to see new hotel)
if not we might splurge and try for a 40 percent of poly!

Yes you can get free dining at the ASMU Family Suites - check out the FAQ thread for recent posts from other DISers who did get it and there are also some posts by DISers who then upgraded from QSDP to regular DDP:

I think your biggest obstacle will be availability just because these rooms are so popular.

When the suites were brand new Disney didn't include them in discounts, but that didn't last long and for the last couple years they've been treated the same as any other value room category. With the new resort being so much bigger I don't think we'll see that initial exclusion period, but it is possible that discounts will be blacked out or very, very limited for Art of Animation if it looks like the "newness" will keep occupancy at satisfactory levels without any discount incentives.
