Actually, you can use points for club level at the Magic Kingdom resorts too. But it costs a lot of points, plus $95 resort fee.
For example, Contemporary Resort Tower Club is 69 points a night Sun-Thurs, and 125 points a night Fri/Sat in Regular Season.
Thanks for clarifying. I was only considering DVC resorts.
They are so high they come up under the overhang giving little view. This is the first I've heard about the 6th floor rooms being sub-par. I haven't stayed at AKV yet so I'm curious. Is there a problem with the view or what?

tomandrobin...Was that a concierge room view? If so, you're right, it's not so great. We really enjoyed our view from a 5th floor Sunset Savanna view room.

Those pictures certainly tell the story of the 6th floor rooms. No wonder they provide you with food and alcohol. Makes sense.
I'm sorry there isn't enough alcohol to make up for the thatch! At least you can sleep late, since the sunlight doesn't make it in!We have a one bedroom cl booked.. someone said 5 2bedrooms... how many 1 bedrooms are there and how many studios for DVC? I don't care much about the thatched roof but would like to know if the room will be on the 6th floor etc? Thanks in advance.
To the left of this it was all roof expanse.
It's actually worse than that because to get that picture you have to move all the way over to the side of the balcony. Otherwise the thatch on the right half of the picture is all you see.tomandrobin...Was that a concierge room view? If so, you're right, it's not so great.
