Can you get both onboard credits.........????

If you book your next cruise on board AND use the new Disney VISA card, can you get both the 'booking on board' credit and the $50 Disney VISA Card credit?

Anyone figured out how you get the Disney VISA Card credit yet? I have two cruises next year that I have paid deposits on, if I 'pay them off' with Disney VISA can I still get the onboard credit, or do I have to pay the whole thing with the card?

I believe another poster asked this and was told no...only one onboard credit, not both.

I had a cruise booked with Costco for Oct 25, of this year.
I called Costco and told them about the onboard credit using the new Disney Visa, they called Disney to see if I would have to cancel my cruise and rebook. Disney just canceled my deposit on my Discover and put it on my new Disney Visa. Now I just have to pay my cruise balance using my Disney Visa to get the $50. onboard credit.

Disney will only let you take 1 onboard credit offer.

This promotion is only good for sailings through 12/31/03.


Westjones your cruises for next year would not apply for this credit.

Last cruise, we had 3 on board credits -
One for Castaway Club
One from DU
And one from a problem with the last cruise
Total on board credit $125

Gary you had 3, but only 1 of them was a Disney Promo credit, from Castaway Club. DU's credit was not from Disney and your credit from a problem in the past was a "We are sorry" gift.

That is exactly what I was getting ready to say...
Disney will only allow ONE Disney shipboard credit per stateroom. I was on the phone to a DCL rep about a week ago and we were discussing this very issue. She said that it was due to so many people trying to get credit on top of credit on top of credit (i.e. re-booking on board, amex, DC, etc) So they have instituted a ONE shipboard credit code per stateroom.
Unfortunately I still haven't figured out a way to get a credit for a DVC cruise--they won't give shipboard credits to those (i.e. Disney Club)

Sue Ellen..............like I have said before. It seems as though we are being punished for being DVC members; for investing in the Walt Disney Company. Go figure!
