Can you get both Military discount and Disney Visa credit?

We were originally booked (4/27 3 night Wonder) as part of a "group" with DU and could not get the onboard credit offer from Disney Visa because of the group pricing/discount. Found out this week about military discount on this cruise, requested credit from DU - looks like that has happened (from website, haven't actually heard from agent yet) and that we were removed from the "group" in order to get the military rate. Now I'm wondering if we would qualify for the Disney Visa onboard credit (we did pay for entire cruise with DV) or if it is not combinable with the military rate either.

I've just saved a decent about of $$ with the military discount, so I don't want to be a pain in the butt, however, I don't want to not get something I could either!

Anyone know if you can get both?

I think that with the Disney Visa onboard credit, you won't get it to be combined with any other offer.

about the military discount. I did not know Disney did that (Only Carnival) Do you have to be active to get it?

I have received an answer from DU - can't get both. That's ok, the military discount just saved us over $400.

SCCRUZZER:
I read a message on the cruisecritic board that someone had seen a flyer on a military base regarding military discounts on some cruises (March and April), she indicated that "It is only good for Active Duty or members with activation orders."

My husband is currently active (although on med-hold, is considered active), so I didn't ask any questions about eligibility.

We cruise Carnival most every year and their discount is great since it is offered to a wide-range.

How much did you save? I will start looking into this once we're closer to three months out. We have two cat 10 rooms in early December, and we'd love to save more. It's a low traveling time, so maybe they'll offer our cruise for a discount. We did get onboard credit from the TA, but if the discount ends up being more than the credit, no big deal returning it. I'd rather save $600 than keep $200 onboard credit!

My credit on the travel agent's site says $465 - although I haven't received any direct confirmation, just viewed my reservation on the website. That is on a Cat 11 quad cabin.

Wow, that would be great if I could come close to that! I'll find out in early September. . .
