Can you get an 'onboard' credit for reserving while onboard for 2 rooms?

A friend and her husband and DD are going on the DCL in September. While onboard they want to reserve for a Dec. 2004 cruise. Her sister also wants to go on that cruise with her husband and DS.

Can my friend make a reservation for her own family and get the onboard credit AND also make a reservation for her sister's family and also get an onboard credit for them?

Thanks,
DJ

I think the reservation would probably have to be in her name since her sister is not the one cruising now.

Why doesn't she just deposit for the two rooms and get the money from her sister. Then later you can straighten out the balance due.

While onboard, I reserved two rooms for a future cruise. One room was reserved for my sister (not with me on the current cruise) and one room was for me. However, the deposit for all people was processed using my credit card.

Mickey Magic,
Did you both get the 'onboard' credit for booking while on board? Were the rooms in 'your name', or was only one in your name?
Thanks,
DJ

westjones - I reserved two rooms; one in my name and one in my sister's name and paid deposit for all members in both rooms using my credit card. We received onboard credit for both rooms.

MickeyMagic,

Congrats on the double on-board credit. I booked & paid deposit on 2 cabins. One had DH & me, the other had my mom and my 2 kids. DCL said the credit was only good for my room unless my mom has a Disney card in her name.
