Can you get an extra MagicBand?

Is it possible to get an extra magic band or even a hard ticket that will open the hotel door and be able to be used for meals on the dining plan?

Here's the situation: There are 7 people going. All made Fastpasses for the same rides/times, There will be times that at least one of the adults plus a couple of the kids will either not go to the park or will leave earlier than the others (nap time!). I know that they can leave their MagicBands with the ones still in the parks so that they can use the fastpasses but we're wondering then if it's possible to get an extra band so that the people who went back to the resort can get into the room and also use it to pay for meals.

Or is the only option for the ones who leave the park to take at least one of the MagicBands with them which means their fastpasses will not be able to be used?

You can get a hard ticket for free.
You can buy a MB, if you like.

Any ticket or MB that you link to your MDE account will work at the parks and the resort.

Interesting question related to the original question - I know that this should work fine if those owners of the MBs leave the park early ... but if those who have the MBs aren't in the park at all that day, will the FP+s still work, even though they weren't scanned upon entering the park?

I'd never even consider this (because I don't think any of us would buy a ticket for a day and not go, so it's moot!) so I had no idea. Now that I think about it ... I don't think I've ever even been in the FP+ forum! But thanks for the reply.

I've got a no-expiration ticket stored in my profile, so I'll have valid, unused admissio for a good long time. But t I've never really had a time visit where it was worth the trouble to game the system.

I think the fastpass forum is new. The threads used to be in this forum, but I guess they became overwhelming.
