Can you get a wake up call from Mickey...

Hello all! I thought I had read somewhere you can get Mickey or another character to wake you up in the morning while in Disney...did I imagine this or is there some way to do this?

We called the front desk and requested a wake-up call in the morning and it was Mickey. My DD birthday call was from Goofy. I think I do remember getting a call from Stitch one time too, just cant remember which year.

I read in the passporter book that usually to get Mickey you should ask for an off time, for example: instead of 7:00am ask for 7:03am.
I'm not sure how necessary this is, I've never used a wake up call before. hope that helps!

okay thanks for all the replies. We've been there the last two Septembers with our kids (free dining keeps us coming back ) And we've never used this before. So we'll definitley take advantage this time...thanks again!

We always stay at POR and every night we request a wake up call. It is always Stitch and Mickey. Got to love it however I wish some of Mickeys other friends would join him too.

There was a button on the phone at POFQ that gave you the automated system for a wake up call. It was always Stitch for me...so funny! No sleeping!
