Can you freeze potato salad?

I made way too much and am wondering if I can freeze what is leftover. Thanks!

I don't think so...I would think freezing would make the mayonnaise taste funny...

I wouldn't think so, to me it might made it mushy, you never see frozen potato salad in the freezer section of your grocery store.

freezing also changes the potatoes, it will make them mushy.
