You could. I've only frozen strawberries, however I'm sure you could freeze other stuff too, as long as you're planning on using it in something (like apple sauce, smoothies, etc.) where everything is going to get all mushed together.
Yes, you can freeze fruits! Just keep in mind that the texture will not hold up after thawing. You can use them in pies (apples, pears, plums). We buy a bag of frozen fruit from Sams and when we have other fruit that is about to go bad I will cut it up and throw it in with that bag of frozen fruit (bananas are great for this). Then we use the frozen fruit in smoothies. The one thing I won't freeze though is watermelon - it is total mush when defrosted & I don't like it in smoothies.
I freqently freeze apples to make pies with - works great, and then a pie is never too expensive to make! I also freeze red and green pepper strips to use in dishes, I just buy extra when they are on sale!
Frozen grapes are delicious! There aslo a good snack for older kids. My best freinds preschooler loves to eat these insted of popcorn when were watching movies.

Thanks for mentioning this! I had not thought about it but you're right peppers probably freeze great! And they're so expensive when they aren't on sale.
We love frozen grapes, but don't give them to your dogs, they can make them really sick!
I freeze apples & pears all the time, I freeze them sliced with brown sugar, cinnamon and sugar added, then I thaw and use in pies and crisps. We use frozen peaches, strawberries, mangoes and all kinds of other fruits for smoothies.
