LOL For Thanksgiving, I am bringing sweet potatoes whipped with homemade honey butter, a greek salad and 4 different types of homemade brownies. My question is-since this is the first time I am making soooo many homemade brownies, can I maybe make them ahead of time (like a week) and then freeze them? And then defrost them the day before Thanks? I sure hope so, LOL!!! Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Most baked goods freeze just fine. I would guess it depends on the other ingr. in the recipe. Creamcheese in them (like swirls) might tend to try out a bit or sperate from the brownie. I might wait and make them a day or so in advance. Nuts and chocolate chunks should freeze fine. You could always make a batch of one you are concerned about now, freeze a couple, and check them next week.

I recomend that you wrap them good in plastic wrap, then put them in a large zip lock freezer bag.

If you normally put frosting or chocolate of any kind on top that might be a problem. Freeze them un-topped (is there such a word?) and then just decorate them the night before. It aslo stops them looking tired.
