Can You Fly One Airline Going and A Different Coming Home??

Just wondering if I was able to book a one-way to Orlando with Song and the coming home leg with Southwest?

Anyone ever do this and is it allowed??

I had a voucher for Delta I had to use before it expired. Booked SW down and flew into Tampa on a great rate of $54 one way. Then flew home via Delta out of MCO. No problems!!!!

you can fly any airline you wish. i will warn you though that the one way fair is usually much higher. i have done this but bought the tickets together thru travelocity.com . you could also check other sites like expedia.com or cheaptickets.com . again, this will cost more money but if you are like i was, i had to fly at a certain time and had no choice but to take a different airline home.

JetBlue and Song are both set-up for one way trips and it seems that the fares are reasonable. A lot of people are doing one airline one way and the other the return flight. Try their sites.

Wish Upon A Star, I recently purchased one way tickets to MCO from LGA through American Airlines for $77.00. I did this because during that time roundtrip was more for the same flights. Now the rates coming home went up again. So, I've been searching and hoping one of the airlines will have a good rate soon. When you purchase through Song and Jetblue the rates are one way. See how much roundtrip tickets will cost and then check out one way rates. Beware that the rates change constantly.

I booked our flights thru travelocity, but with a customer service rep on the phone. She put our flights together and it worked out cheaper to fly 2 airlines. We are leaving LGA to MCO, flying AA down and Delta home for $170 per person round-trip including trip insurance!!
