Where I grew up in NY, its soda. Here in FL, everything is Coke. My husbands family in Ohio calls everything Pop. Very accurate!

At work when people ask what kind of pop do you have, I always say, well Pops at home, we have soda. Makes them laugh.

Yes, it is accurate here where most call it soda and in Illinois where my mom grew up and I remember her always drinking 'pop'. I didn't realize so many use the term 'coke' for any type of carbonated beverage. I guess that is like when people say 'Kleenex' when they really mean 'tissues' and 'Zerox' when they mean a copy. Interesting.

I wonder what 'other' refers to? You think that's a combo like 'sodapop'?

On a side note, I read "county" as "country" at first. I looked at the map and thought it was a trick question.
