Can you find the exact room listed in your contract?

I own a DVC contract at Kidani. Just for fun, is there a way to determine the exact room number that is listed on my contract? My contract says that I own "An undivided XXX% interest in Unit XXX of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villa". What room is that? :)

Sorry, no. It's just a portion of a section that doesn't coordinate with the villa numbers.

The documents that DVD files with the state of Florida contain floor plans that show the Units, which as Deb says have no relationship to villa numbers. Ted Krasniewski (@tjkraz) has some of those and may have them posted on his site, DVCNews.com, although I'm not sure where to find them.

Yes you can.

Assuming you mean at WDW you have to go to the Orange County website and go thru the condo documents to find the filing for the phase that has the unit that is on your deed. It will have the floor and location within the building.

I was bored during some bad weather last year and located all of ours.

OP - its funny you ask that, when we stay at SSR we always say, hmmm I wonder which door handle we 'own' or which toilet is ours. I guess based on the number of points you own, you possibly could 'own' a room...but it's probably more like a closet door. :P

More like a square of a tile. ;)

As indicated above you can dig through the OCC website and come up with a unit number diagram. Among our contracts is unit 122A at SSR. As you can see the unit encompasses a few villas but we indeed have sought this and our other units out, to admire our doorknob 🤣.

And it varies by resort and even Phases within the resorts. Some phases had a single villa. Some have a floor of a building. Some might be 2 or 3 2BR units and so on.

Yup, depending on the resort, etc. the diagram may allow you to narrow it down to 1 or 2 rooms. For others the "phase" diagram may encompass more rooms, but you can at least determine the general vicinity of "your" slice of the resort using these diagrams.

Rather than search the OCC website, you can try this link for your Public Offering Statement (POS) to find your Unit: https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/collateral-docs/
Unfortunately, the POS only sets out the overall resort parameters. If you want actual Phase/Unit drawings OCC is where you must look. Uncheck the box, select condo drawing and then on the advanced tab, legal remarks put your resort name. Even then it will take some time slogging through the results to find your resort and phase/unit filing. A good rainy afternoon undertaking if you are interested.

Got it. Maybe POS' are different, but for Poly, I can see the Phase/Unit in the POS. I'll give it a try at OCC, though. Maybe there's something different. I think it's raining in my neck of the woods on Wednesday! :)

I'm not certain if PVB is unique for having a full exhibit but it's not in a couple others that I checked.

When I was in the Navy as a plankowner I got a piece of the ship when it was decommissioned. So do I get a piece of the resort if I am an owner at the end of contract life? Oooo, I want that!!

So, not a rainy day here but just bored at the office. I 'think' I found my rooms!! lol

If I have it correctly I own a piece of a Savannah View Grand Villa at Kidani and piece of a few Value Rooms at Jambo (I have 2 contracts at AKV). Talk about opposite ends up the point spectrum for AKV (one of which I may actually stay in, the other not so much).

annnnd now I found our place at RVA lol. For other RIVA owners, the POS link worked and has the units marked starting at page 93 of document RVA POS Rev. 02-28-2019

I own a fraction of four rooms at PVB on the second floor of Pago Pago, facing the parking lot.

And here I was hoping I might be sitting pretty on a few square inches of bungalow!

I searched through the documents for BLT when I first received my deed. Although it sounds boring, I found it fun to look through all the drawings and find the rooms that contained my ownership interest. I recommend it.

So, I was excited to dig into this, but now I'm at a loss to find my unit. Anyone else own CCV in Unit 5C and can help me find it?? I went through the CCV POS, but it only seems to go up to Unit 4. What am I missing?
