As an official member of the "I can't stand my MIL club" I fully understand your situation. I always felt that my MIL had an "agenda", and I just couldn't place why. I could never understand why she felt so strongly about petty things, and let the important stuff in her life go unnoticed. Your last sentence though was quite alarming. What is going on with your oldest daughter and your MIL? That to me is the more important question that you need to get to the bottom of. Good luck with your MIL.

We really should think of starting a support club.
