We need a place for 2 or 3 nites before our WBC check in. We need 3 bedrooms to accommodate our group. Most of the places I have looked at are running about $ 200 a night when you factor in all fees. I tried to get Grand Beach (which we really like and has nice 3 BR units), but am not finding anything in my price range. Any recommendations? The time is Nov. 2 & 3 and maybe the 1st also. THANKS !!!

You didn't mention what type of property you are looking at but there are are a number of townhouse or condo properties that might fit the bill. It will be a challenge to get "all in" for $150 or under though. I would suggest checking out Lake Berkley or Terra Verde in Kissimmee on VRBO.

I was looking for a condo or something like that...and it can't be too far from WDW...I will check those two places that you mentioned.

Without a doubt. Check VRBO. You can get a nice 3 bedroom within 10 minutes of WDW for $60-$80/night, or maybe even less. Though I guess if you add in the cleaning fee, it's probably closer to $70-$90 per night.

Its adding the cleaning fee that's the killer. I am looking for a 2 bedroom place for 2 nights after my SSR stay. All ending up over my price range so I am going with Pop Century.

Cleaning fees really aren't horrible, guess it depends on how long you stay. The fee is usually around $75. I guess if you're only staying a couple of days, it's more significant. Most people who rent a condo stay for at least a week, so that fee winds up being $10/day or less.

Yep - it makes condos/villas quite $$ for 1-3 night stays.

Oh, I am prepared to spend up to $ 140 a day, including all fees, so anything less than $ 100 would be excellent...I will have to check the VRBO site and see what's there. Thanks for the tip.

I've had very good luck on TUG2.net classified ads section and Redweek.com getting three bedroom condos and Cypress Pointe and Cypress Point Grand Villas for very good prices, even at very popular times, renting from individual timeshare owners. Lots of the owners have floating weeks, so if you book enough in advance you can usually get any week you want. I really like this place and it's super close to downtown Disney.

Usually though these rentals are for a full week though, so might not be a good option. It might be worthwhile taking a look. Also, retail on these resorts is sometimes pretty reasonable too, so you might look at that. Unofficial Guide rated this place as a best value in Orlando retail.
