I was wondering, does Disney have an option if you are staying on pts. in a DVC resort that has a non-DVC area (ie.BWV, VWL,BCV), can you pay for Concierge access? Would it be worth that option?

No, the option doesn't exist to my knowledge.
I sure wish it did exist. Although the concierge option is usually a waste of money, we like it anyway. :teeth:

Is it a waste of money if you are not in a DVC room or just a waste in general?

Well, in most situations a concierge room just seems really expensive compared to a regular. You get some snacks, drinks, and turn down service, but it can be an extra $200/night (factoring in an AP discount).

An exception would be our trip next August. We booked a 3br suite at the Grand Californian, and added concierge for only $150/night. I say "only" because the $150 is for everyone in the suite, which sleeps 12-14 people. So as you can see in that situation a couple drinks at night, and breakfast in the morning can be a very good deal.

Sorry for rambling...
I do wish it was an option! :drinking:

If you stay at non-DVC resorts on points, you can get a concierge level room many times. But if you stay at a DVC resort on points, there is no concierge service.
