The thing about double booking is that the people who make them are not sure "when or where" they want to eat and will not make that decision until the last minute!! They are creating the ability to be flexible for themselves at the expense of others who may truly want that soon to be useless ressie.
They will make ressies all over the WORLD and then have the freedom to decide the day of, which of their multi ADR's they want to use...what good will cancelling the ressie in the same day do then??? => I am being highly optimistic that they would even make that courtieous call at all!
I am really taken back by the selfishness of some and their inability to see that their actions do have an affect on so many......
