I have a Disney Visa but have already rented DVC points for Oct 11-18 at OKW. Can I purchase a free dining package at a moderate (including 7 day tickets, which I still need) for 3 nights checking in on the 9th and out on the 12th? My two ressies would overlap for the night of the 10th, but it might be worth it since we were planning to arrive and stay offsite the nights of the 9th and 10th anyway and pay OOP for our meals before we check in at OKW. I know you must checkin to start your FD package, but is it OK that the two ressies overlap one night?

I think so. Some DVC members actually do this to get free dining, from what I hear.

If you're worried about them cancelling one of your packages, you can ask your DVC member to cancel that first night. You might not get a refund but you would be assured your ressies didn't overlap
