Can you do this?

Can I use two adult credits at one meal and pay OOP for my son's at the same dinner or am I forced to use a credit?
I may end up with one extra TSD credit because I'm sending dh to Universal for the day. I was thinking of saving a child credit at 50's prime time since it is our cheapest meal and use it for a breakfast one day.

There is no issue doing this. We did it when we were on the plan, and just made sure to tell our server who was using dining plan credits and who was paying out of pocket. We mentioned it when ordering and again at the end of the meal. Went off without a hitch.

Great! Thank you so much! My son wants to do Chef Mickey's for breakfast but I may not be able to get in there since others may have already booked before that 90 day rule changed. If not maybe a Crystal Palace breakfast.

I'm not exactly following your logic on what you are trying to do. Maybe I'm not woke yet. :)

It sounds like you want to use an adult credit to pay for your son's meal and then use his child credit to buy breakfast on another day. Is that correct? Will the breakfast meal be just for him on another day or are you trying to buy a breakfast meal that you all can share?

If that is what you are asking I believe you can do that but I do unless you child is going to eat a full adult meal at the 50s prime time cafe that really isn't an effective use of an adult credit (in my opinion anyways). Further when you use his child credit for breakfast you will have to order off of the kids menu.

I think it might be more effective to use 1 adult and 1 child credit and the 50s prime time and then use the extra adult credit for the breakfast (covering an adult sized meal).

No I want to use 2 adult credits for me and dh and pay cash for ds at Prime Time for dinner. Save kids credit for a character breakfast that will cost more and use my dh's credit from the day I send him to Universal Studios for his birthday. He is a thrill ride fan.

Got it. Makes sense now. You should be good to do that.

That is great! I'm not so sure how we will be able to eat that much food in one day though! I'm thinking breakfast at Crystal Palace, then my son and I have the day to do whatever we want with dinner at T-Rex. I would also need to squeeze in a counter service lunch too! I may take him to Downtown Disney and Disney Quest that day.
