I was wondering if you can do Sea World in 1 day. I bought 1 day and we get a 2nd day free. I was hoping on the 2nd day we can get tickets to Aquatica. We never been to either parks so we want to try to do both. I would greatly appreciate some advice. Thanks.

We did Sea World in one day last February (2008). We went back the second day because we had the free tickets, but ended up just doing a couple of things for the second time and leaving around 11 a.m. It wasn't that crowded, though.
I think it depends on what you like to do. The shows are scheduled most inconveniently, I thought, so you may want to go back the second day and do any that you missed the first day. I definitely think you can do enough so that you are satisified in just one day.

We were planning on going there for a day while at WDW next May!! I was also trying to find out if it was worth it, I've heard good and bad about Sea World. I had also asked in another post about getting to Sea World since we won't have a car. I was told that Disney has buses that go there, but they don't advertise it, and I heard others say that wasn't so!! I'll have to call and see!!

I think you can get everything in a day. If you get there at 9:00 a.m., you can do the three major rides before there are much of lines. Then you can do the Blue Horizons show which normally begins around 10:00. The rest of the day you can probably fit in 3, and may all 4 of the other shows. Between the shows you can check out the exhibits and eat. If you have small children, that may take time away if they want to ride the childrens rides. I do not think you can use Aquatica as the 2nd free day - that is limited to SeaWorld. They do have a como ticket which includes both SeaWorld and Aquatica.

If you go on a day that the park has extended closing, you will have no problem seeing everything. Even if you go on a day with a early closing like the fall, assuming you go when the park first opens, itll be tight, but youll be able to do it. Watch the park map carefully. There is a pattern to the shows, ans you can go from one to the next with out a problem. You just have to find it.

Without a car you have to either rent one, take a taxi, or take a Lynx bus to get to SW from Disney. Disney does not have a bus to a competitors park.

The first time we did SeaWorld, which was a couple of months before Manta opened, we had no trouble doing it in one day. We also did Dine With Shamu on that day, but we did it at the end of the day so it wouldn't interfere with the shows etc. We didn't do the Atlantis ride because I hate walking around wet, but we did everything else and it didn't feel hurried at all. This was at a slower time of the year though...in the peak time, I would get Quick Queue as long as it included the shows (DH, who goes a lot while I am working, said they recently lowered the price but it doesn't include show seating anymore...probably a summer thing).

Thanks everyone for the tips/info. I'm just going to go for the 2 days and if we get to see everything at SW in 1 day we could always go to Aquatica. If not we can just go back top SW the 2nd day. Thanks again.

SW in San Deigo gets pretty hot since the shows are mostly outside. Is this the case with SW Orlando? I would rather split my time into to mornings if that is the case since we have 2 day passes.
Thanks!
