can you decorate a USPS flat rate box?

was just wondering if it was allowed to decorate a flat rate box, and still be able to be delivered.

I do all the time (just sent one for Easter) and so has my DD. I usually go to the self serve machine and get my postage first , that way I know it won't cover any parts I have decorated. I also go over the address I am sending to with a highlighter to help it stand out

awesome thanks! i didn't wanna try to decorate it then get there and have to switch box due to not being able to send

Just don't cover any of the printing on the box and you'll be fine.

I always do. I usually add some stickers and some cute duct tape. I just don't cover the wording about 'priority flat rate' etc. I've never had a problem.
