Can you cut thru Epcot after 9pm? (Monorail station to BWI)

I think it's kinda ironic that for all the talk Disney makes about "the future" you'd think that the whole park would be connected by WEDway people movers and monorails, instead of diesel buses.

Buses are way cheaper and more flexable than either people movers or monorails.

epcot to BW

OK, in the last week or so, I had to make some calls to BWI itinerary planning (and BWI front desk) to tweak some dinner reservations (sometimes the call got forwarded to itinierary planning at the GF). I spoke to about 5 different CM's and after finishing the matter of the dinner reservations, I asked each one of them the same question about arriving at the Epcot monorail platform near 9pm and being allowed to cut across to get to the BWI (exiting at France/England) 4 of them said this was OK to do, as long as you show your room keys, and maybe some ID. The sweet spot seems to be between 8:30 to 9:15. One of the 5 CM's I spoke to called Epcot Guest relations, and they said no, you can't do that. So there it is... 4 itinerary CM's say yes, 1 Epcot guest services CM says no. It's not set in stone. It would probably be best to find out for sure when we're there.

Did the Cm's know you didn't have a park hopper?
Did the GS cm know you didn't have a park hopper?

When all is said and done please let us know how long it took you to get from the entrance to Epcot to BW that night.
IMHO... if a family is staying CL at BWI (and can prove it by showing room keys) I don't see any harm in letting us cut across Epcot like this around 9pm.

I'm sure everyday something ike this happens at EPCOT after 9:00 pm. It just depends on who is making the decisions on the night of your attempt. Since there is no direct transportation to BWI from the main entrance of EPCOT and tbe park is about to close, I really think you will be permitted in. Would bet on it f I was a betting girl.

Let us know what happens by posting back to this thread.

Good Luck:goodvibes

The sweet spot seems to be between 8:30 to 9:15.

8:30 - No, because the park is open until 9:00. Anyone entering while the park is open needs a valid ticket because you could still get onto rides, go to a restaurant, and watch IllumiNations.

After 9 - Maybe, but like others have said, it will depend on the CMs at the entrance. You might have a better chance after IllumiNations is over because nothing will be open except maybe MouseGear.
