My DD might want what constitutes a snack credit for lunch sometimes - I am thinking a crepe or croissant instead of a sandwich (she doesn't like sandwiches) etc.

So I was wondering if we have a few leftover child CS credits what can we do with them? Can you convert 1CS to 3 snacks like an adult one?

TIA

Lisa

Since CS credits aren't tracked as kid vs. adult, if a location will allow the trade, it should be no problem. It won't come up as kid vs. Adult in the computer.

The official Dis answer is that YOU are required to keep track yourself and make sure that you use your credits accordingly. There are several places on this site to find spreadsheets and note keeping ideas to ensure that you do not over use the adult credits and if you do it is considered stealing by this community.

The official Disney answer (which is all that is allowed on the Dis?!?!?) is that a child may only eat from a children's menu is one is available. Your KTTW card will indicate the make up of your party (ie 2 adults and 2 children) and that is all that the CM will allow to be used during an individual transaction.

If a child does not eat a particular meal for some reason, then you are expected to use that credit for a child at another time, or lose it. However you are correct, Disney does not track child v adult credits.

There may be other possibilities, but they are not allowed to be discussed here, and many consider them to be stealing.

Very few places have sandwiches on the kid's meals except uncrustables. Most places offer pizza, or chicken nuggets, some places have salad or mac and cheese.

Disney does not track CS adult/child meals. The DISNEY rule is that children are to order off of a kids menu IF one is available. They do not enforce or print any rules beyond that. Staying within that policy you have lots of options.

1. Use your child's credits for breakfast. Then use her snack credit for lunch.
2. Eat where you want and get her a kid's meal someplace else.
3. Order her a meal at a place that does not have a kid's meal- if no kid's meal exists they get an adult meal. Check out the sticky for suggestions.
4. Use your snack or meal credit for her and eat her kids meal- they are very filling.
5. Ask Conceirge to trade CS meals for snacks.- may or may not work.

I doubt you will have any problems finding something your child will like- this is disney all the menus are designed for kids :cool1:

We had 3 of my DD's CS credits left on the last day of our trip. DD didn't always want what was on the kids' menu so I'd share my meal with her and use a snack credit to purchase an extra side.

On our last day, I was able to use the CS credits to purchase "snack" items at our resort. The cashier allowed 3 snacks per CS credit. My understanding is this is only done at the resorts and is sometimes dependent upon the cashier. Not all cashiers will do it. I had asked about the "3 snacks for 1 CS credit" at a couple CS locations in the parks and wasn't allowed to do it so I do think the conversion is limited to the resort CS locations only.

We were able to use CS for snacks - three each, on our last day - we had way too many CS left - so we stocked up on airplane snacks - like chips etc.. - we had two families traveling together, so that was helpful. We still left some on the table.

Thanks but I think you misunderstood as I have no intention of stealing anything. I just know that we if we decide to have ham and cheese croissants at France my daughter would only want a plain one so I can save her CS credit and just use a snack for her. Or maybe we will share something so we will have leftover CS credits to use up. I believe 1CS can equal 3 snack credits for child or adult so I will use them up accordingly.

We've only been offered extra snack credits at the resorts, never at the parks. At the parks, they have always let us use CS for snack, but it's just a 1:1 trade.
