Can you charge restaurant gratuity to your MB?

Are you able to charge a restaurant tip to the credit card linked to your Magic Band even if using a dining plan credit to pay for the meal? If not, I suppose it's the norm to carry around cash for tipping?

If you are staying at a WDW resort and have enabled charging to your room account, then you can use your MB or KTTW card to pay for your tips, whether you are on the DDP or paying OOP for your meals.

Yes, you will get a receipt just like a regular restaurant with a iine for tip & total & you have to sign it. This also happens at pool bars, etc.
