Can you change your mind about the 5K?

I signed up all of the 10-and-overs in my party for the 5K. I'm getting ambivalence about whether everyone wants to do it. Can they decide morning of if they'd like to participate or not? Are they taking up spots from others and I should take them off the list? Thank you!

They will not force you to run it or charge you if you do not. I would however cancel in advance simply out of politeness for the CM’s who need to prepare the material for the activity.
