Can you change ressies once they're made?

Hi!

I've never done this but wondering if it's possible.....Pending availability, is it possible to change an existing reservation? I booked a 1 BR at OKW. I found out some friends might want to go to WDW the same time as us and would like to upgrade to a 2BR. Besides paying more points, is there any penalty for changing a reservation? Has anyone ever done this? Thanks for your help!

No penalty at all for doing this! In fact you reminded me I need to call MS to find out out if I can change something on my reservation for next month

No penalty. Basically you cancel one reservation, and make another. So it all depends on availability.

Don't forget that anyone waitlisted would have preference over you for any rooms that may become available. But you can waitlist yourself if that's required. Your 1-b/r would not be released until your 2-B/R was secured via waitlist, then the 1-B/R is made available, probably making someone elses waitlist come thru.
