So I'm not going for a few months yet but I was going to make park reservations for the plan at the moment. But with dining reservations being 60 days out if I have to switch the days up I can do that right? Change the park reservation days? I thought for sure yes until someone questioned if I could, and doubt crept in lol TIA

Yes, you can (assuming there’s availability). At 60 days out, you should be fine to switch around.

Your timing should be fine. In order to change a reservation you should check availability on the park you want. Then you have to cancel or delete your current reservation and then make a new one.

if your park is not available, still book something. I was able to change park reservations on site at a blue umbrella in MK (yesterday) for one of my future dates (Monday) even though all parks are at capacity.

You sure can. I just switch a MK reservation last night. If you go to “Future Plans” in the MDE app, click on the park res you want to cancel & it will pull up the option for you to cancel. Super easy. Just check park availability first.

OP asked about 60 days out. June and July are all green on the reservation availability right now.

You can cancel your original reservation and book a new park, if available. You cannot 'change' a park reservation. Cancelling the first one comes with the risk that there is not guarantee you will get the new park or if not, get your original park reservation back.

If all parks are available there shouldn't be a problem but if they're starting to fill up it could be more difficult/not possible.

This is not guaranteed so not recommended. There have been many, many reports of guests not being allowed to switch a park reservation to a full park even when going to Guest Services or a blue umbrella. A full park is a full park so I would not count on exceptions being made.
