I haven't traveled alot before, and don't know if this is possible, but.... I booked a cruise with one TA, now to find another that can save us over $300.00 same everything. Is this something that is done? Should I cancel and go with the cheaper one? They both are companies that is talked about often on this board.
Thank you in advance for any advise!

Hi Hailey! Most travel agents will not accept transfers from one agency to another as a matter of professional courtesy. You certainly can cancel and re-book, but you would be subject to new pricing with the new booking should you do so, and you would possibly lose your cabin assignment as well. If neither of those are a deal breaker for you then you are certainly able to do as you plan. Enjoy your cruise! :)

You could also tell your TA you have found a better price and see if she is willing to price match rather than lose your business ;)

Just thinking outloud here....Can you transfer the reservation BACK to DCL, then from there transfer it to the new TA? The new TA can get it from DCL easily without canceling the trip. Question is can you get it back to DCL from the origional TA??? I would bet so. Again, just thinking outloud........or on a keyboard as the case my be!;)
