Hi!

My DH thinks I went a bit too far with the Gifts and Amenities this time. LOL

I was wondering if it was possible to cancel some of the orders made?

Thanks in advance.

Don't know but I wouldn't waste time Asking here. Go call up DCL and ask if they can cancel it

I'm glad you got your answer. My intent was not to suggest you not ask for help but to urge you to call them first and wait for someone here to respond while on hold. Which apparently nobody knew the answer in the time you took to find out directly

I'm sorry my intent got lost in text

Hope you and your husband enjoy your cruise. Where and when are we going?

It's okay. It's not you, it's me: I've been oversensitive today.

We are going on April 6 on the Disney Wonder. We are bringing my FIL and MIL with us. It's going to be fantastic and I tend to be a bit too excited about it with all the surprises I've been adding.

Not sure who you are referring to, but I didn't read DLM1980's response as snark. More of a suggestion. There are a lot of times that questions get asked here that should more rightly be directed to the people who make the decisions (like DCL directly).

Of course you wouldn't, you're a pro at it too.

I agree with you. Usually I would ask DCL directly but I have been so crazy-busy lately that I was trying to save some potential loss of time by asking on DISboards first.

p.s.: So crazy-busy that I have actually forgotten our FIL and MIL PIF date and forgot to add them to our reservations for Palo Brunch. Thank God I have been able to find a table for 4 a little bit later for that day.

I'm envious. I'd love to be able to bring my mom with me to anything Disney but she can't afford time off work even if I paid for the trip. We tried bringing her with us this June to Alaska but she eventually said the financial stars were not aligning

I'm hoping once, we move to Florida that the money I would have spent on my airfare I could put towards getting her on a trip with us

I hope you have the chance to do it. It is so precious.

My mom passed away 10 years ago, I would have loved to be able to bring her on vacation with me. That's part of the reasons I am so excited (and emotional) about this trip. So happy for my husband to be able to do what I couldn't do.

I've also found that as a previous cruiser the Castaway Club number is an amazing thing. I have never had to wait more than maybe 3 minutes calling that - when the main line is 10 minutes or more (if I forget about the CC member line).

I mean, obviously I don't call on opening day or anything crazy like that. But otherwise it has always gotten me almost right through.

OMG! I can't believe that I forgot about the CC exclusive line! I should have used this one instead of the regular number!

Thanks for reminding me that!

You're welcome! I sometimes forget about it myself until I hear the "Your call should be answered in approximately 15 minutes..." thing. It may be just random, but I have NEVER had to wait more than 2-3 minutes on the CC line when I call it back after hearing the long wait message.

Yeah, I've tried it before... They are super efficient.
