Can you call to get your room #/ bldg. before you actually check-in?

I assume you cannot but was wondering if you can call a WDW resort directly day before or day of arrival and get your room assignment (prior to checking in)?????

Any info. would be appreciated.

You can check in early the day you arrive, but they won't give you a room number until the room is ready to be occupied. You can store your luggage at the resort if yoou want.

Sometimes they will give you a room key-card, but have you call at 4pm to get the exact number.

I agree with the other poster. Until you are checked in they could assign that room to someone else. They do give you a phone number to check to see if your room is ready.

If you are anxious to get into a room when you get there you can ask if anything is available and they will try to give you a room that is already cleaned. It depends on how busy they are if that will happen.

We got our room number at the Poly last year before we checked in. We called from the Swan to see if our room was ready(wanted to know if we should lug our bags over there, or just send them through bell services). They told us it was ready and what room it was.
