Can you call MS to make a reservation not using points?

Can you call member services to make a regular reservation at a WDW hotel (non-DVC)? My DH is thinking of driving down for two nights (tonight and tomorrow!!!), we wouldn't be using points for this, not sure if I can call MS for this or if I should call the regular reservation #.

if you were going for the 25% discount for members then you call MS - otherwise you need to call CRO

For a nonDVC reservation, you can not call Member Services.
