Can you buy bottles of wine at the AKL?

Is there a "store" in the lobby of the AKL that sells beer, wine or vodka? I had thought about shipping some down...or taking in suitcase (no, we are NOT alcoholics ) but thought it would be easier to buy there?

But remember you're going to pay Disney prices for it. Are you renting a vehicle? If so, there are a few Liquor Stores in the area, and even the supermarkets sell wine.

The gift store sells wine, some fairly reasonable. They also sell beer for 2$ a can. Not bad for disney.

Keep in mind however that you will be paying Disney prices for it! If you are renting a car, the supermarkets & WalMarts sell wine, and there are a few liquor stores in the immediate area!

You can also buy bottles of wine from Jiko's that are in their 'celler'
(which is one of the finest South African wine stores in the US

Yes, Jiko, Mara and the Gift Shop sell wines. Very few liquor stores in the US sell these types of wines.

They do sell wines, I find most if not all of them in my local stores. But for convenience it's much easier to just get it there rather than carrying it, even with the price.

In Jiko, yes, they have the harder to find wines. I love their wine list and it's one of the main reasons we return so often.

During our July visit we were at AKL to eat at Boma and stumbled on to a wine tasting they had at Zawadi Marketplace. So they not only sell it but occasionally you can just taste it!

Hi...not looking for any fancy wine just a nice bottle of zinfandel or chandonnay.....can you buy that without paying an arm and a leg?

Hi - we had a really nice bottle of Pinot Grigot for about $11 during our trip last month. Got it from the gift shop.
