Can you buy annual passes in the Universal store in the airport?

Our trip is mostly Disney but we want to go to Universal for a day and then go back in the summer and next fall. I was waiting to buy the AP's so that I could have them appear on the next credit card statement. I've already spent way too much in November. :rotfl::rotfl:I don't even know if buying them at the airport would save us any time when we get to IOA.

and then you go to will call? I was thinking if there was a way to avoid will call and go straight to the turnstiles? It’s been years since we’ve done Universal.

You buy them online and then when you get there you go to the will call, scan your paper and put the same credit card you used to get them.

They will be a paper ticket, but you can stop by guest services at some point and get a credit card type card.

It only takes a min of your time. If you wait to buy them when you get there, there will be a huge line to wait in.

Hang on. I thought you couldn't get APs at the Will Call kiosks since they are a plastic ticket?

I don't believe that is true for APs. I think you still have to pick them up at the ticket window or guest services since they are plastic. Or has that changed?

Some of my party just picked up Seasonal APs at the will call last week. They exchanged them when we left the first day for the plastic cards.

That is great information to have. The website still says you have to pick them up at the ticket booth, but the website is never that reliable!!!

Those of us that had the free parking APs went the evening before the first visit to pick ours up and did it at guest services, but those with just the seasonal AP and the 4 day tickets, got theirs that morning of the first visit.

I am not positive because I did not have the 4 day ticket, but I think those people also stopped by guest services that evening and got plastic cards in place of the paper ticket also.

And for the record because I saw conflicting info on it before my trip, I asked at two guest services windows and YES, for free parking, the APs must be activated first (ie, used to enter a park)
