Can you bring food, like sandwiches and water bottles inside of a soft sided cooler bag like at Disney?

At Universal, you can bring in bottled water (as long as it's not opened), snacks (such as: chips, granola bars), anything for dietary needs and you can also bring in a small bag. Coolers aren't allowed. Sometimes my family and I bring a few sandwiches, but leave them in the car. After a few hours, we get our hand-stamped, go to the car and eat and back to the park for another few hours.

you can bring items into the park with you.
no glass bottles or glass anything is allowed though.

There is no hand stamping, that's what your ticket is for with biometric finger scan.

I see people with back packs with all types of food. You just can't have the coolers and setup a picnic in the park.

You can bring anything with you that does not need to be refrigerated (potato salad, chocolate milk, things like that) or reheated (tv dinner-type things). You can bring a cooler, but it can't be on wheels and can really only be about the size of a lunch box. Bottled water, soda, juice, all of that is acceptable. The only time they don't let you bring your own items is during special events like Mardi Gras and HHN.

I understand, the one time I went a few months ago, they stamped my hand. I also had my Ticket. It's OK, my apologies for giving incorrect information.

I'm going to Universal tomorrow and can't wait until SpiderMan :3dglasses

Get a "polar bear" cooler. Kept ice in a solid state all day in 90+ August weather last summer for us.

We brought a collapsable cooler with sandwhiches every day in both WDW and Universal. We had it in a backpack and never had any problems getting it into any of the parks.

We were on the dining plan at Disney, and for our Universal day I brought personal pan pizzas and cookies!!!

It worked out great, and we made it back to disney for dinner!!

I didn't buy any food at Universal!:rotfl:
