I was wondering if the waterparks allow ice chests. I wanted to pack some extra water, bottles for the baby and a few snacks for the day. I know that the theme parks discourage food or drinks brought into the park. But my husband seems to think that he has seen large ice chests brought into the waterparks. Does anyone know?

Ice chests are allowed in the water parks. Glass containers and alcohol are "not allowed".

yes, you can bring coolers into the water parks and yes, they will check them for no-no's such as glass bottles and such.

We have brought the regular cooler (hard sided on wheels) before since he had it with us camping anyway. other times we have just brought smaller 6pack sized soft sided coolers that we have kept in our locker. once we even brought the cheapy styrofoam cooler that we snagged at wal-mart on our trip to the store from the airport. handy in the hotel room for drinks and snacks and also at the waterpark. (easily pitchable or leave outside your room for another guest to snag at the end of the trip.)
