for the pools at ASMo? My boys both wear a "bubble" to swim at the YMCA. Can they use those at the resort pools? I don't want to pack them and have the lifeguard make them take them off. They absolutely can't swim alon without them so it would stink if they couldn't

I brought my son's speedo bubble and he used it everyday at Poly in June. There are floatation devices available (free I think??) if needed. I don't know the regulations, but we were allowed to use it.

We had a few small float things from home and no one said a thing. I don't know of any rule, but my guess is that as long as it is not dangerous to others or so huge that it gets in the way of other guests, they would want kids to be happy and safe in what works best for them. I do think I've seen here somewhere that the resorts may also have some loaner items of that nature. If no one answers about that possibility here, it could be worth a call to the resort to ask about borrowing life vests. Then you don't have to drag yours there (though the risk may be that it is first come-first served). :wizard:

I'm sure that it would be fine.

We've found that it can depend on the time of year, the lifeguards on duty, etc. Basically, large flotation devices like big tubes and rafts are not allowed, because they block the view of the lifeguards. We've seen lifeguards ask people to not use small tubes and noodles when a pool is crowded. I know they hate those arm swimmie things, as I have witnessed two rescues, but they don't ban them.
