Can you bring a Bobble in a carryon?

Flying out to CA to see new grandbaby in May, via Delta. Not planning on checking any bags, as it's only a 4 day trip...2 outfits+1 pj (will use washer at DD#2's house, along with her bath stuff), plus hairbrush, phone/Kindle, books/magazines and a few things for baby will fit nicely in a small dufflebag.

Dislike the water "flavor" in CA, so want to bring a Bobble to drink out of. Can I bring it (empty) in my carryon, or will the TSA not allow it due to the carbon filter?

If it has no liquid in it, you should be fine.

It is fine as long as it is empty. And by empty they can mean no little bit of water left in the container, if the particular TSA officer wants to get particular. The Bobble is easier than some other filters to make sure there isn't leftover water hanging around, fortunately.
