I was just wondering if you can book with a travel agent if you are using Annual Pass rates. We have annual passes and first I am wondering when they come out with rates for December. Second could I book a room with a travel agent and then when the AP rates come out switch it to the AP rate OR do you have to book the AP rates directly with Disney. As always I appreciate the help you guys give me. Thanks

Yes you can. Most Disney Specialists (especially the online Earmarked ones) will provide this service automatically.

There are a few agencies that people here prefer. Out of respect for the sponsor of this board, I will name but one. DREAMS UNLIMITED. By supporting them you keep these boards going.

Thanks. I was afraid that AP rates might have been different than the other "codes" that can be added to rooms after they are booked AND I thought that maybe AP rates had to be booked directly with Disney. Do you think that I should go ahead and book my room now and then add the AP rate later if it comes up or is it safe to wait and see? We are going December 9th.

We have always booked the room and added the AP code as soon as it came out. In our experience the Disney TA's seem to know ahead of time when the discounts are coming and can get on the phone first thing in the morning and get the lower rates. Saves me the worry and phone calling!

Barb45-we are also going Dec 9th and I have had our rooms booked since April. Also have AP's and waiting, waiting, waiting.......

Mom-rules - Did you book through a travel agent? Where are you staying? That's really cool that we will be there at the same time. We will be staying from the 10th for 3 nights at VWL and 4 nights at the BCV but have determined that going on the 9th will be cheaper for my daughter and her family to fly down and will give us a full day on the 10th which is her birthday. So all I really need to do is book that extra night somewhere. I'm thinking POFQ???? (my husband wants something cheap but I'm not sure about the values) Can't wait!!

I am a TA- and you can definately book through any TA using an AP code- just mention you have one or are interested in one & they can set it all up for you! I would highly suggest booking your room asap, as soon as you are sure when you want to go secure your room so you have it!
:cool1: Have fun! :cool1:
