Can you beat Hyperspace Mountain?

In the interest of seeing the numbers for the other side of the question Doc asked about Blast in space. Really just looking for poll numbers on Hyperspace and those who can beat nietther game.

Here are a few tips on how to save yourself some bother.. If you die befroe you save one time kill yourself aand start over otherwise you are waisting a life. You would be essentially starting over with only two lifes instead of three. If you die twice but are far enough along that you don't want to start over then do nopt bother to save anymore. The reason here is if you save it costs 750 points yet if you die on your third life you will not be going back - it is game over, thus saving is a waist of points and time. If you are between 5-15 minutes your bonus points will be pretty good so you can be close to the score you need and get carried over the necessary amount.

shield pack lets you walk into the red spikey ball and not get hurt so that you can get the power upgrade. Power upgrade lets you turn off laser. (i learned this the hard way, tried to put on shield pack and walk through laser)

My best score is 32,750, but lately, my best time is 13 minutes. I used to be able to finish faster, but I have to get used the game again. I played a lot when it first came out, but stopped shortly after.

My best advice for winning is to go slowly. There is no time limit. As you get better, you might want to speed up a little, so that you can get the time bonus points so that you don't have to get 25,000 before going to the ship.

I found that if you can get all the gold things (sorry, forgot the name), and all the power packs in 13 minutes or under, you only need to get 20,000 points because the time bonus ends up adding about 6,000.

My dad finished in 5 minutes and only had 13,000 points, but his final score was 26,000.

LOL i started to play it again after like...5 months, and you can seriously tell i haven't played it in 5 months, It took me awhile to beat but i did in 20 minutes, My best time through the vmk lifetime was 8 minutes.

I couldn't beat it then, and I can't now, heh. The only arcade game I can play is Airlock Escape and we get nothing new in that one, heh. Ah well.

i think my best time was about 10 minutes with around 35000 points, but that is because i thought you needed 25000 points before going to your ship. i wouldn't be able to do it without the map.

yeah, the best way to go about it is to slow down. i find that if i am out of control, i just stop at one of the safe spots (refueling or walkways) to calm down.
also be aware of your jet pack. i use it sometimes as an "arm" to reach for some of the balls, but sometimes it touches bombs and blows me up.
i still find my self crashing all over the place, so it's still annoying to me. now i'm working on blast in space arg!

I played it for the first time yesterday. I think I could beat it because of the help thread, but I'm just not patient enough, and that's not a game to rush through because that stupid suit is hard to move accurately.
