I was just in my trade room, explaining to people that as Blast in Space was more difficult to beat than Hyper Space Mountain and took far longer to play, I would require more in trade for the Arcade Cabinet than the Tron table and chairs. Another player told the room that Blast in Space was the easier game. I completely disagree (and I think he was just trying to make trouble for my trades!) and wondered how many people out there can conquer the game?

I consider myself to be an almost expert gamer, and I cannot beat blast in space, but I have Hyperspace knocked and can beat it in under 7 minutes.

The MINIMUM time for blast is about 18 minutes

Well, I happen to be relativly good at B.I.S., but can not beat it. I managed to get up to level 15 and blew up, scared the poop out of my dog with the resulting yell. Oh well. I agree, Blast in Space is much harder, but seeing as how I'm pretty bad at both (can't take my time in games for some reason), my idea of hard might be relativly different than most.

Um...I cant beat either game, but Blast in Space is easier than Hyperspace Mountain for me.

I can't beat either game. But I get farther in Hyperspace than in BiS.

I can beat both games (after alot of practice), but Blast in Space takes me a lot longer and is a lot more difficult for me to beat. Sorry that player was giving you trouble, Doc. :goodvibes

Actually, he turned out to be a nice guy! He asked me to trade the table/chairs for the cabinet because he can't beat HyperSpace Mountain. I told him it was a rotten trade for him and tried to give him two tables and four chairs, but he wouldn't trade for that unless he put up two cabinets! I couldn't talk him out of it, so he really is convinced the HSM is the harder game!

I've spent alot of time trying to play both games. While I can play Blast, for about 5 rounds, I can't even finish the white line of the posted guide here in Hyperspace! Blast may take longer because it is timed intervals, compared to however fast you can get through and get enough points or whatever is required of Hyperspace.

I'm currently trying to figure out what a worthy offer is for your trade thread Doc. :scratchin

That's great, Doc! I'm so glad that turned out well. It's nice to see some kind and fair players out there (you def included! :thumbsup2 ) after hearing about all the rudeness lately.

I can't beat either of the games. At all.

I figure I'll wait awhile for the items to be more common, then I'll trade for them.

Or if I get impatient, get my gamer friend to try his hand at it.

Both my DS and I have tried both games, mainly when they came out. We don't go to the Arcade anymore because even with as much practice as we did, we cannot beat either game. But we can get partway through Hyperspace Mtn, while we simply get blasted to bits for just logging in, to play Blast In Space! :rotfl2:

I noticed too that even in the trades forum here, it is obvious from what Tron furniture is being offered, Hyperspace is the one being beaten more often.

I personally, was very happy to see that you, Doc, are capable of not only playing but beating that wretched game! Or DS and I would probably not be getting any of the video game cabinets! Thank you for accepting the trade  my friend!

I agree blast is more difficult because you only get one life. I always die before it is complete. have made it to 13 or 14 I think. Hyperspace 10 minutes after a few bad tries each time. because I bought a space suit I never needed to win it but I think I depends on the player. The person may have really found it easier. I am real good at astroids but you get extra life so..

I blew up three or four times yesterday on Level 16. I just couldn't get into the zone. I had better luck today, but the music is driving me batty! I bet I play it in my dreams (which always happens after too much VMK!).

My opinion for what it's worth (uh... yeah lets just forget i said that) 2 sets of Hyperspace is worth 1 set of blast in space

I can beat both games, but yeah its harder and takes longer. and more importantly MANY more people can beat hyperspace mountain than can beat blast in space. the margin is HUGE!

I used to be able to beat Blast in Space, but it keeps eluding me at Level 16. Would you believe that I once got 13,000 points before dying on level 16? :badpc:

Anyhow, Hyperspace mountain is the easier game. I wish I could say they were both easy, but I just can't (anymore).

Turn your speakers off! :p

I'm happy to know that there are some who can beat those games as I am hopeless with them! :teeth:

I can beat both games but I must also agree that Blast in Space is a lot more difficult and time consuming. I can usually get a code from Hyperspace under 5 minutes, while Blast in space takes me at least 18-20. And that stinky level 15 drives me nuts!

So I really do think Blast in Space should be the more rare but it all depends on what traders like the most. ;)

I can't win either one of the games.
