Does anyone know what the "best" arrival day of the week is during high season in terms of getting a room request? I would guess it would be the date of the greatest departures, which I would assume is Sunday, but I do not know. Any ideas? Is a Saturday arrival a bad choice?

Most departures occur on Friday. Sunday has the highest number of arrivals.

Thanks for the response! I would have guessed that people would depart right before having to return to work on Monday. Thanks for the answer.

Many people depart before the weekend due to the higher point costs on Friday and Saturday

:teeth: If most DVC members check in on Sunday and depart on Friday, then there must be a lot of departures on Sunday morning (or empty rooms on Saturday night) to make room for them! :teeth:

But of course, if a lot of DVC members are checking in, you have a lot of competition for room requests. It's said that DVC members have a higher priority for room requests than guests who pay cash and reserve through CRO.

Many believe that the a DVC member's best chance to get a "hard-to-get" room request is to check in on Friday or Saturday.

Good luck!
