Can you add "traveling with ________" via MS?

Hi there! I'm staying at SSR with a bunch of friends. We're all in studios, some standard, some preferred depending on what was available when we booked. We really don't care which section of the resort we're in, but it would be fun to be somewhat close together. Is it possible to add "traveling with" via Member Services? I know this used to be a note you could put on a regular cash reservation on the regular Disney site. Thanks

You can! We are meeting family in November (all in 1 bedroom villas at the same resort but they’re on cash and we are on points). We had MS add it to our reservation to hopefully get rooms kind of close together.

The preferred rooms will be in a different building than the standard rooms.
The same building for 'others' is most to hope for.

Preferred sections are Congress Park and the Springs. Standard Grandstand, Paddock and Carousel.

Since it’s a mix, there is a chance your SV rooms won’t be close to the PV rooms.

You can add traveling with to each but be prepared that the sections may be far apart

You can do it via Chat or Email via the member website or by calling. MS just needs all the confirmation numbers!

That’s what I figured. Was just hoping to avoid having us the standard folks on one end of Carousel and the preferred friends on the DS end of Congress Park if possible. If it happens like that, no big deal, we can just hop buses and meet up at the Paddock pool

If it were me, I'd do two things:

1) Add the "traveling with" designation, but only for people with the same type of room. If A, B and C have Preferred View, specifically have those 3 parties noted as a "traveling with". And D & E who are Standard View should make their own separate "traveling with" group.

2) For the Standard group, I'd request "Paddock, Close to Disney Springs." And for the Preferred group, request Congress Park.

That's about as close as you can get everyone.
