Can you add the DDP at check-in?

Can you add the dining plan at check-in? We are booking a package with AAA for the end of April. We are undecided about the dining plan at this point. My TA is not very knowledgeable.

"The Disney Dining Plan may not be added to a reservation at resort check-in, nor can you upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan when you arrive at the resort."

That was under the rules at the top of this Board. I didn't make it up.

We love the DP and can't imagine going without it! There are plenty of places to choose from and there is never a lack of food either!

I called to double (more like quadruple check) a couple times before our trip. We left three days after payday and luckily back then they said 48 hours prior. They did tell me, thought, that it was changing to 72 hours prior to arrival soon, though.

Definitely do it if you can! It's definitely worth it.

We went Jan 5-12 this year and couldn't decide either. We finally made up our minds 4 days prior to the trip and added the DDP to our reservations. We did not regret that choice.

There is a seperate inventory of AAA discounted rooms that can booked with dining. Wait to long and your AAA discounted room rate may go to rack rate if you want to add dining.

Only a AAA TA can add dining to a AAA discounted room rate.
