Can you add express pass day of visit?

My daughter will be at Universal for one day in August with a group ticket. Can you add express pass onto that at the park the morning of?

You can buy a one day express pass
while in the park

There are also 2 types of Express Passes- unlimited and once per ride. Once per ride is cheaper

Is she going with a group of friends? If her friends won't have EP, she might not get great use out of it. Single Rider Line is another great option if she doesn't want to wait.

She will be with one friend and they would both add it on if it was available to them, but yes single rider is a good option to keep in mind too - hadn't thought of that. Thanks!

My DD and I were there at the beginning of December, and we rode most everything single rider if it had a wait. Since many of the rides are virtual reality, it didn't make a difference that we weren't sitting right next to each other. I don't do the big coasters, so she did single rider on those by herself (Rock It Roller Coaster, Hulk, etc). I hope they have a great time! Tell them they have to share one of the giant donuts in Simpsons land.
Also, they can always decide to purchase EP when they see how the crowds look when they arrive.

That's good to know! I haven't been to USO myself so didn't think of that either!

Yes, we went single rider on Gringotts and Forbidden Journey. The Hogwarts Express doesn't have single rider - so if they have p-2-p tickets, they might have to wait for the train depending on when they try to ride.
