Can you add Dining once in WDW

I have a friend who purchased a package through Travelocity. Can she purchase the dining plan once she arrives in Disney.

Nope, dining plans have to be added at least 72 hours before check in.

don't wish to hijack this thread but it is a similar question

We have all got QSD however DD boyfriend might be joining us - will pay for extra person in room but what do we do about the dining?

Everyone that stays in the room has to be on the same plan for the entire stay, is my understanding.

If you add him ahead of time, he will be required to have the same package requirements everyone else has.

If you add him when you get there, you will only have to pay for the additional adult. However, he would not be able to use DME (you must be on a room reservation) and you will have to pay for his dining out of pocket.
