Considering a lot of golfers go there, I'd say yes on the golf shirts and yes on the golf shorts, but no on jean shorts or collarless shirts. I went to one in Chicago and most all I went with were in casual clothes.

Understand that shorts are standard wear here in Florida. As others have posted, go with nice casual dress shorts and any nice collared shirt and you will be fine just about anywhere in Florida with a few exceptions. Footwear should be in good condition (nothing beat up). Exceptions would be places like Victoria & Albert's.
